Wire rope lubrication is the process of applying lubricant to the individual wires and strands of a wire rope. This helps to reduce friction between the wires and strands, which in turn reduces wear and tear on the rope, extends its lifespan, and improves its performance. A well-known cold rolled steel plant required a solution to their existing wire rope lubricant. Their requirement was to extend relubrication intervals and prevent premature damage to their wire ropes. After studying the application in detail Molygraph recommended CRG 100 M, a state-of-the-art wire rope lubricant with excellent penetrating properties that helps extend the life of the wire rope.
